Sep 12, 2025 - Weekly Changelog

Hey all, hoping to do an (almost) weekly update to keep everyone up to date with what we’ve been shipping and what’s coming next, starting with this one here!

More control over LLM generation

We’ve rolled out additional features to give you more control over LLM generation. Now, you can add forbidden words and set custom Top K and Top P values, the repetition penalty and the frequency penalty.

These can be accessed through the Advanced Settings and Generation Rules in the menu.

Scripts is getting better

Shipped a bunch of improvements to Scripts. Mobile editing should work better now, and we’ve fixed a bug that was breaking Scripts on large characters.

We also improved the debugging tools for creators’ advanced Scripts, and added a Match Whole Word option.

We’re working on some improvements to make Scripts design more intuitive, as well as features to allow you to view and share public scripts.

Proxy config reordering

We’ve heard from a lot of you that keeping track of your proxies can be annoying. That’s why you can now reorder your proxy configurations!

Inside the Proxy Configuration settings on the API Settings page, use the buttons to move proxies up or down. Desktop users can also drag the proxies to reorder them.

Even bigger characters

We’ve bumped up the maximum size of your created characters from 100kb total to 1mb total. Let your creativity run wild, but do keep in mind most models prefer a modest token count <3

Ads test is expanding

We talked a couple weeks ago about how we were testing an ad to help cover our GPU costs and let us make improvements to the model while avoiding some of the challenges with payment processors.

The numbers seem initially good, but it just isn’t getting that many views right now. We also heard from a lot of you that you were willing to see a few ads if it helped offset our costs.

Over the weekend, we’re going to roll out a few ads to all users. We’re doing our absolute best to put them in unintrusive places, and would love your feedback as the test rolls out — please send us your thoughts, positive or negative.

Other improvements

Scroll restoration
When navigating back and forward through the website, it will now remember where you left off and put you right back to where you were! Should make browsing the trending bot pages a lot nicer.

Search bars in Following and Blocked pages
You can now search the creators you have blocked or followed.

Enlarged images in chat
Enlarged images in the chat on most browsers will now be in their full quality, and scale neatly instead of staying at the previous lower resolution.

CSS editor improvements
Bunch of fixes to bugs in the CSS editor.

  • CSS editor will now save empty fields
  • Fixed issue where CSS pro editor was unscrollable on mobile
  • Fixed issue where select element drop-down was unclickable if “Select Element” was toggled on.
  • Resized editor on mobile slightly, so it should fit the screen way nicer.
  • Fixed issue where a step was getting skipped inside the CSS editor tutorial.
  • Added a button to re-take the tutorial for the CSS editor, in case you skipped it or wanted to see the explanations again.

Character mark stacking
Fixed issue where combining markers (Thai, Arabic, etc) were stacking and overflowing in the comments section. Now limited to two diacritics/combining markers.
