we rebuilt the whole system so each script runs independently now. so you can use way more complex functions without everything breaking.
basically if you know what youre doing, you can build some genuinely powerful stuff the limits are way higher.
lorebooks: fixed a bunch of bugs and secondary keys are working properly. these let you be way more selective about which entries actually make it into your prompts instead of dumping everything.
more ui changes: should have scripts pages out over the weekend giving you the ability to comment and add some different content on them
and no more losing your work. autosave is live. switch tabs, lose internet etc.

expand characters in-chat
you can finally see character descriptions and images while chatting. just click the character name to expand everything, click anywhere else to close it.
response prefill
you can now decide how the models reply should start.
better image moderation
image moderation should be way more accurate now with less random blocking, more consistency with actual content policies.
we are watching how it performs, if something gets blocked that should not, keep flagging it. helps us tune the system.
scroll fixes
added a custom scroll restoration hook. sounds boring but fixes two annoying things:
- when you click next page, it scrolls you to the top pagination so you see characters instead of feeling like the page just reset
- fixed custom html scroll on profiles that wasnt working
menu spacing bug
fixed the weird menu loading issue some browser updates caused. menus should look normal again.
more coming next week. also would love to do a BTS version of these to show some of the things i work on in the darkness that well im personally super excited about.
