Well I got the right hook up. It’s called a help desk. The janitorai helpdesk to be more specific. Or a customer portal. Or…uh…a Knowledge Base! Or the help part of the website, with the fun little chatbot thing!

Yeah, I said chatbot. Answers questions, and can even answer in an uwu way if you ask it real nice. Does it get everything right 100% of the time? Well…not quite, but it’s learning, and it’s getting smarter. So it’ll help you out 9 times out of 10.

What about when it doesn’t? Well…good news on that front. This place is packing over 75 articles to read through, and it still ain’t finished. And if you really can’t find what you’re looking for between ol chatbert there, and a library well…I got good news. They even got people to answer questions if you really want that, and you can still email them too.

Our lovely little chatbot

What a handsome little thing! We’ve been training this little customer service chatbot. It can help you with policy questions, CSS advice, character building, explain LLMs, proxies, troubleshooting - honestly, it’s a pretty great feature to have! We’ve poured hours and hours of testing and training into it. And it’s actually very accurate!

Most…of the time. We’ve noticed a couple of things that we haven’t managed to iron out yet. So here are some helpful bits of advice:

  • Sometimes the little guy gets too enthusiastic and loses its train of thought. The message may cut off. If that happens, just tell it ‘Hey, you got cut off’, and it should send you the full message!
  • It’s pretty great at policy. BUT, it’s not so good if you ask it about very specific characters. If you want to ask about aging a character up, it performs much better if you ask about aging up criteria, or if you want to create a NSFW Pokémon bot, ask it what the rules are around that are, instead of asking about that one specific Pokémon you’re thinking of.
  • Some topics and themes are very nuanced, and it does do a pretty good job. However, other things it can definitely struggle with, so if you’re a creator with a question around heavy consent themes, or you just feel like it isn’t giving you a consistent answer, best to speak to one of our human agents. (Definitely human. We are meat potatoes like yourself.)

We also have a great search option - if you open the chatbot and click on search, it’ll bring up an AI assisted search engine that goes through all of our articles and can answer you, while also showing you bigger sections of relevant articles, which it also links to.

We’re starting out with over 75 articles, and that’s going to keep on growing. We intend for this to become a veritable Great Library of Alexandria!
